Have any Chicagoland RX-8ers seen this used?
 

Hey guys, I hope this isn't a misuse of the regional forums, but I'm in a bind and need some advice. I've found this used 2004 that has a meager 2,700 miles on it, but is priced at about $20k because of the work that has been done to it (turbo, exhaust, etc). I test drove it and it felt pretty amazing, but I'm concerned over not having a warranty. I love cars and the idea of having a tuned beast like this would be fun, but I'm trying to be smart here. Any advice would help, thanks in advance!:beer05:

The Chicagoland owners have their own website and forum (www.evolvchicago.org). I'm pretty much the only one still active here.
Pugi isn't that far from me. I'm kind of busy, but I could go down and take a look at it on Saturday. If your worried about the warranty, couldn't you buy an extended warranty to take care of any problems.Since Pugi is a Mazda dealer, you could go into the service department and have them print out a service history for the car. The history is stored at Mazda North America offices in Irvine, CA so any Mazda service work would show up on the report.
