I'm located at Fort Knox,
My 8 is pretty much bone stock, bought it second hand after I came home from deployment...pretty much spooled all my cash towards my previous vehicle which was a beast of a pathfinder with custom super charger and much much more, closely hitting the low to mid 400hp...
After deciding to buy my 8, my wife now drives the pathy and well, my plans for the 8 is limitless, but with a deployment once again peaking it's head around the corner, we'll see...I am though hopeful for this income tax season to spool in funds to mod my 8...
Cheers!
P.s. Maybe a cruise some time? Originally from NY and we did plenty of cruises, just riding around aimlessly with my previous Evo X

A couple of days ago I spotted two other red RX-8's on Nich Rd. within the span of about a half mile (while I was in my red one as well :p)

Mine is ugly right now as I am taking a few things off before some changes this winter.

Otherwise, I am the only one around here that is red with RPF1's. Don (boostedmazda08 I believe) is running around here in his 40th Anniversary on RPF1's as well. I don't know of any others I know of from the forums.

What's yours look like, levi?

I haven't replaced one but it shouldn't be super hard from under the car. Your talking about the one in the header right.

Thank you for the welcome, good sir. Yeah, I've read a lot about 8's on this site before I actually decided to get one. Definitely has been an excellent source of info. I've only had mine since about mid October, and I love the car to death and back.

Crim, if you have a tool box get you a OBD code reader. It will save you lots of cash and put your mind at ease.I had a front o2 sensor go south. They wanted 350 plus 2.5 hr labor (100 hr). I put it in for 107. HELLO

No disrespect to the dealers they have to eat and pay the rent, I have a de-lux dealer in LEX but if you can DO IT yourself it saves for other toys for your ROXIE

caidoz: This Eight has popped my rotor cherry, lol.

levi: Yeah I have a OBD Reader, they are super handy. Yeah, I avoid dealers at all costs. They charge way too much, and don't exactly put as much care towards the car as I would try to. Definitely looking towards more toys for ride. Just gotta start with some things I need fixed first.

well welcome to the rotard club. Mine was popped by cars that didn't belong to me but belonged to friends. My first was a 88 Turbo II.
