    I am in New Orleans and have a 2008 rotary engine from RX-8 that has low compression and needs rebuild. Are you available and how much will it cost me. The engine has been pulled from the car already.

    I'm just wondering where you ave to melt the siphon bit and how to know when you do it right? I bought one it came with NO instructions and although i know where to do the mod i dont wanna wing it

    Hi Hesselrode,

    Could you please let me know where/who you bought the engine off of ebay and how much did it costs so I can buy one too?

    I might have a blown engine that may need to be replaced but my motor is out of warranty at 115k miles, and need to estimate costs (I am not willing to pay $4k that the dealership will quote on a new engine that is out of warranty).

    Also do you know how many pounds the engine weighs? Thanks for your prompt response.
