There is a rumor that you have taken apart and maybe repaired an EPS control module for the RX8. My son's power steering (2004 RX8) is on and off working. I tried to take apart the module to see if there was any obvious damage to the circuit boards but the top board seems to be held down, maybe by a screw underneath or maybe by a snapped-in header connector. I don't want to risk breaking anything and figured you may know how to get that top board out if you had done it before. I searched through your numerous threads, but didn't find what I was looking for.

Hey nycgps, are you on the island or in the city.. I’ve been working on rotarys with the most rebuilds and experience on the renesis S1 & S2.. I was just curious if you still work at Mazda and which one..

Its the same nipples both RHD and LHD, its right by the LIM.

How is it done differently. Like you keep the car running while doing it ? do i still need to take the 2 sensors off ?
Also i have a right handed rx8. I was unable to find the nipples

Did you recode your abs module yourself?
I need to recode a abs module for the 2nd time and im trying to figure out how to do it.
I dont have a VCM but i have IDS, is there a cheap OBD cable that will work for this?
