Oh, hey. I just saw your message. No, we didn't go. we had planned on it, but woke up in the morning with a slew of problems. We are, however, planning on going to the next one, I believe in two weeks. Let me know if you might go to that one. Its at the I-wireless center. I actually like that location much better anyway.

sounds great. unfortunately the differential in the FD exploded friday night at the drag strip, so we are skipping the next auto-x, but we'll be at the one after that. It'll be July 22nd. If it is easier, I'll just give you my phone number in a PM at some point.

Hey man. we did some auto-xing last weekend, and a few weekends before that. we go down to the great river region, and run with that group. its a pretty small crowd, plus I know pretty much everyone there. We will have to go to some auto-x's together.

Anyway, I looked more into the auto-x school, and I'm not sure if I would like to go. It looks like it is more for etiquette during an event than actual driving instruction. I'm not sure if that is right, but it seems like it is aimed more at someone who has never been to an auto-x.

That sounds like fun. Did you actually mail the form in, or is there an online sign up that I can't seem to find? I see it is limited to 24 people, and I would hate to mail the form and check in, only to find out that it is full. What time did you plan to leave DBQ? It would have to be mighty early I'm guessing.

Yep. I do a little with the GRR region in the Quad cities. I actually used to run my FC with them for a few years, but I've been busy building my (now finally finished) FD. I had thought about taking it this weekend, but the weather is looking poor. I also ran my 8 twice last year just for fun. I believe I remember getting a thumbs up from you as well!!
