Introduction to Mazmart

Thought I'd start by telling a bit about our company.
We were established back in 1980 by Jim Downing and Rick Engman who had teamed up (Driver and engine builder repectively) to race Mazdas 5 years earlier.
That partnership has led to many successes, most of which we'll cover elsewhere.
They began acquiring RX2s and RX3s for parts to support their race effort and Jim, having had experience in the parts business (British), realised the opportunity to start parting out the Mazdas.
Fast forward to today. We are located in Atlanta GA; where rust is not welcome. We specialise in used parts for late model Mazdas including current vehicles like the 3, the 6 and of course the beloved RX8. We have had in excess of 80 3rd gen (FD) RX7s and we have provided parts for the MX5 (Miata) and the Protege to people throughout the world.
In a nutshell: We are a Mazda specific salvage yard covering mostly late models (90 to current year is where we can be of most help.) We mainly carry items that exceed $100 at the dealer (Trinkets and trim items are not generally what you want to call us for.) We sell engines, transmissions, wheels , seats, audio components, computers etc. Mostly ordinary, factory OEM parts. Our stuff is sold in similar fashion to the dealers, so if an item is not sold separately from Mazda (as opposed to part of a larger item) our policy would most likely be the same but at a lower cost. At present our sales are done via the phone, allowing us to cover important details.Purchases are non-refundable, so we highly suggest that you use Mazda or someone 'proven' competent to asess your needs unless they are cosmetic. We offer warranties and guarantee the functionallity of our parts; not that they wil necessarilly fix your problems. In the event of a mis-diagnosis and resultant parts purchase error we offer a 'store' credit to the value spent minus S&H. We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee. The part must be turned around within 5 days of receiving it. We accept many major credit cards. Please feel free to inquire about yours. We try to be fair in our pricing, although quality often comes with some cost factored in. Again, we will continue to offer the highest quality, lowest mileage, rust free, tested parts possible.

Would you happen to have interior plastic console for the tunnel from shifter back to the rear seat cupholder? Not sure if it's all one piece all the way back or not...

Mazmart 12-08-2005 02:38 PM

I do have it. Call me or PM me.

I am looking for more information about the MP3 player option for the RX8. Do you know anything about it? Do you have an option to purchase it?

I think it runs around $350 from Mazda with it's trim piece. I might be able to get you one for cheaper if you're interested.
By the way, I didn't notice your post until just now, since it's tucked away in my introduction thread.

Start a new thread if you have parts questions. This one is closed. Thank you.
Paul.
