I need the non NAV removable dash piece. The one the comes all the way down around the center display.

Do you have this piece

If you are referring to the piece that goes where the nav sreen would on a nav car

Could you keep us posted when they become available--I'm going to tackle this homemade screen project.

I think you're better off if you try this project with the dash piece for the nav unit that includes the hood. You don't need to deal with cutting up the dash and the result will look more professional and similar to stock. That's what I'm planning anyway.

How available are those dash pieces from the nav? Aren't folks having a hard time getting them?

Not sure about that - I got mine for free (was lucky).
Paul can probably give you an idea about availability and price. Although he said he wouldn't part out any of his nav kits which have to contain those pieces as well.
