AutoEXE Big Brake Kit
I noticed AutoEXE just released a big brake kit for the RX-8. It's gigantic at 14", but it seems like the rotor setup seems very similar to what other Japanese manufacturers release. Is this kit just a rebadged Endless or something? Has there been more information on it? What's the weight on the kit?
For what it's worth, I think the AutoEXE brakelines are the only lines I'd put on the car as the fronts mimic the OEM style two piece. I don't like how the other brands simply have a piece in the middle that you then adjust the two sides to get a good fitment as I'm paranoid that in driving the positions will shift and I'll get contact. It's one of those 0.5% chance things, but I like things as close to perfect as possible. |
I am researching your questions, & will reply when I have all the answers. It is not a part I stock, so please bare with me as I get all the answers. Thanks.

Its a 4 Pot caliper with 355 mm Disc :) a bit bigger than original but still be able to fit stock size 18/19 inch wheels.
Autoexe probably got it from someone with Autoexe's spec. ITs not rebadge from Endless. Endless has their own version of kit for Rx-8. Its the mini 6-pot kit. http://www.endless-sport.co.jp/brake...act/index.html |

The guy in Autoexe told me that It is rebadged from Project Mu, the calipers are made from Project Mu. So it should be good!

I am going to do reduced pricing on everything AutoExe this week that is not overly large. Anything that can come by air is included.
