So you are looking for an engine cover for an 04, not from the 09. Correct???

Anyway any luck in researching the AutoExe request...

I'm pretty sure that is not correct. I think the new multi-point brace is standard for all 2009+ RX-8s, at least as far as manuals are concerned. I think the 2009+ autos do retain the old style 2-point brace.

The R3 does have a foam-filled front crossmember that the other models do not. Maybe that's what you were thinking about?

Best I can tell, I was wrong, however that 2 point brace seems to be only pre 09 although Mazda's EPC shows that bar in the 09 section. It states std power for that one and Hi-power for the 4 point. Everything is Hi Power in 09 even though the manual makes more horses than the auto.

Our auto came with that 4 point bar.
