Question about the MS Urethane Kit

I don't know if there has been a thread somewhere else on the forum, and honestly I don't care. I want to ask the guys at MazdaParts.com what they think about the kit. Is fitment good? Would you reccomend this kit? I just don't have 3K around to get the genuine kit or I would, us Police Officers don't make much $$$ these days

TIA fellas.

The kit needs to be installed by a body shop because it is not sent with mounting equipment and holes are not predrilled.

There normally needs to be some shaving around the edges and tweaking to get it to look good.

The price is great for the item.

Just don't expect to bolt it on like the Mazdaspeed kit.

Thanks, I appreciate the help!

Thanks T for responding for me.

The front and possibly the sides of this kit could ship from the midwest promptly...no typical order delay as usual.

isnt urathane more prone to warping in the heat? leaving ugly looking "stretch" marks?

not if high quality Urethane is used and most importantly the parts are installed properly...in fact it is flexibility which makes it far superior to average Fiberglass in cold enivroments.

Now we are starting to see hybrid kids and new technology in FRP gel coating which is preventing cracks in fiberglass and making FRP more appealing. The main drawback to Urethane is it costs more...but as you can see by the price of the kit it isn't an issue here :).

Ask 4 years to supercharge about the Urethane he has interacted with the kit before...I have but limited amount.

theres a body shop here in Black Mountain that is outstanding. The owner, Russel, is meticulous with his work. He said as long as the fitment is decent it will look perfect when he's done... and judging by the work of his I have seen it will!

That is the key to this kit. Having someone who has worked with non-OEM parts and isn't afraid to work with them.

Urethane is easier for them to work with because it isn't as rigid as fiberglass.
