I'm not sure if it's appropriate, since he never paid me and I never shipped, but I did not appreciate that he had me pack-unpack- and repack the item (for an acceptable reason) with absolutely no intent to buy the item.
I was expecting to receive payment via Paypal on Friday night and ship saturday morning, but he refused because that made him feel "Totally sketched out" (which is somewhat reasonable. He asked for pictures of the item (in addition to the one in the thread) and I told him it was already packed, but he insisted so I obliged.
He offered to pay me half of the money, have me ship it and send him the tracking info, then pay me the remaining portion (this would all be over paypal). I refused because I'm not an idiot.
On Saturday morning at 8am sent a text saying "You will be getting payment shortly." At 3pm I texted him saying that the shipping stores (UPS) close soon, and that if I didn't receive payment soon I couldn't ship until monday. I sent him three more messages through the afternoon, each without a response, and finally refused to sell to him.
Through this, I turned down three other offers and now, even if one of them accepts, I can't ship until monday night. Since he refused to pay on Friday, then Through saturday with no correspondence I am forced to believe that he either made me hold it for him with no intent to buy, or he was trying to scam me.
