I am looking to buy a new or used motor to get my 2004 RX-8 up and running. Anyone have one for sale?

if you planning to keep your 8 dont buy an used one you gunna spend time and money for a bad engine i believe mazmart have a good price in rebuilt engines arroun 3000

 

He is planning on selling it IIRC.

 

Yes, I am planning on selling it. So as long as the motor has good compression, then I'm fine with it.

 

buy an engine from mazmart and i give you my engine plus cash lol anyways you planing to sell you car (i dont have any problems with my engine) any SARX friends can tell

 

No thanks. lol. If I buy a brand new motor, its going into my car, maybe it would make me want to keep the car...

 

I was just kidding man haha I have a lot of plans for my car a lot of protects but nothing finish so its time to finish it! Keep the car and join the SARX club

 

I enjoyed the car, it was a fun to "drive" but in my mind I've moved on to another platform that allows me to make power and be tons faster than my RX-8 could have ever been. In other words I'm about speed right now.

 

We'll see what the future holds, right now I just want to see if I can find a motor.
