Did the original owner give you the software that goes with it?

Edit: sorry, I should say that this is not for me, but is a pertinent question as any interested buyer will need it to get the real use out of the AP.

Also just making sure that you know it has to be electronically uninstalled from the car it was installed on before it can be used on any other car

Bwilk- No software but ive seen it on the net other places

TeamRX8- it is unmarried.

The problem is that each of the installers that Cobb provided for the ATR software are keyed to the AP that was provided when the user bought them or requested the software. It actually authenticates the install against the AP while it is installing and matches the keys. If you have a way of getting the software from the previous owner, it would save the next owner 150$ and whatever time the Cobb EFI University will cost them. Just my suggestion, glws.

Mazdamaniac has the software download link on his site. Is that not the correct one?

That's just the manager software. Basically only used for getting files on and off of the AP itself. Not for creating custom tunes.

yes, and that's all the unit came with, and can be gotten for free via download.

The map editing software is a separate thing entirely.
