Anybody need a stock FD3 muffler? (Dallas)
 

I've got a used (obviously) factory catback exhaust/muffler I've had sitting in storage for quite some time. The muffler is as it should, ugly ;) but it is in great shape; no holes, dents, etc. I had it on my car for about 2 years before swapping it out with a Racing Beat muffler. The muffler only has about 80k miles on it. I recently re-polished the muffler tips (and will hit them again with some polish before selling).

Anyway, I've tried to sell this on the RX-7 forum forever, but no bites. I dropped the price to $40, but I will take any reasonable offers. I'd prefer pick up or meet for this item, as it's rather large. But, I am willing to ship. Naturally, shipping costs will be added to the sale price.

Bad cell phone pic, but you get the idea. As I said, it's old, and dusty/dirty. On the car, you never knew. The tips really do shine like a mirror [took a lot of elbow grease :) ] Let me know if you're interested.

To add: The black looking part on it toward the end of the muffler is from flat black paint I had on it for a while, it isn't burn markings.

I hear ya. I had 4 other 7's before this one, never a red one, and I swore I'd never get a red one. But, this one kind of fell in my lap (amazing deal), so I went for it. Took a while, but it's grown on me; I really do enjoy it now. It's my "Japanese Ferrari." ;)

that's what I'm going to do Marshall... I'm going to put my FD HKS muffler and yours on the 8 to maintain the use the dual outlets in the bumper since we can't get rid of our RX7 junk! got a welder?

Sounds like a plan. In regards to the welder, I know Liberty has one. ;)
