I still have mine since 06. I'm surprised it lasted this long for the good price TEIN sells them for. As always, coilovers are not made for bumpy roads. Get ready for stiff a ride.

If you don't need height adjustability, shocks/springs are a better bet. If height adjustability is high on your list of requirements, it is either these or something else for hundreds of dollars more.

I have the tein H tech's, and they gave me the same drop as the S. Tech's some of the other members have......

coilovers are good... just depends on what your intentions are going forward with them

I just sold my Tein Basics, I wasn't very happy not being able to adjust the shocks. If you are planning on getting coilovers, I would get the flex or better mono flex for the "complete" coilover. There are many other brands out there also. Buddy Club, D2, Eibach, Megan, HKS, H&R, K-Sport, Tanabe, Greddy, Mazdaspeed, Bilstein, Daiyama, KW, Stance, and my favorite JIC Magic FLT-A2. Look around. If there is anyone near you that has a set installed, ask for a ride. Adjustability is prime. When you are interested in a certain brand find out the cost to repair one and the cost to replace a coil, if it's cheap enough you never have to buy another set again, just repair and replace forever.
