cmon somebody help this guy!

9krpmrx8 06-05-2009 11:16 AM

Do you have a place to do it? We could do it at my office (covered and flat surface) on a weekend but I need to get my spring compressor from my dad or you can buy it at harbor freight. Its a few hour job but we can knock it out no problem, I have all the hand tools we just need good jackstands and a jack. But for the 150 you were gonna spend you can buy that.

dozer 06-05-2009 11:18 AM

OR you can rent one from autozone

O.o

tbk 06-05-2009 11:26 AM

i have a flat covered driveway but my dads friend actually came and took the jackstands this morning :banghead:

9krpmrx8 06-05-2009 11:40 AM

I don't know how much of a hurry you are in but I can probably get my compressor and my stands from my dad next week but he lives in Waco. Jigga and I swapped mid pipes and it went well but we didn't have stands or a real good jack. but dude I'm sure we can dig up stands and a decent jack.

Spring installs are a piece of cake. We can make a mod day of it, I need to install my new rotors and pads.

tbk 06-05-2009 11:45 AM

well i was looking to get it done today lol, but if we can make a mod day of it next weekend im up for it!

yeah dude DIY. wit 150 thats like a party in Dozers driveway. you'd only spend 50 for food and booze. drunken DIYs are awesome!

dozer 06-05-2009 12:56 PM

^hell yeah!!! the installs at my house are always fun and full of drunken shenanigans....calling ATILLA post ur youtube videos of the drunk install at my house

9krpmrx8 06-05-2009 01:07 PM

So you mean the 13th then right? I am changing out my alternator tomorrow but that will only take a second. We could do it at my office but there can't be any shenanigans for liability reasons.

Check it out.

ya sorry didnt specify, i did mean the 13th. ^^those look nice but i dont know if i want to buy one and then rarely use it. but i will be buying some tokico d specs soon so it might be worth it. hmmm decisions...

9krpmrx8 06-05-2009 02:26 PM

Yeah I have used mine twice but my dad and I do a lot of off roading and so I have used it a few times on other peoples vehicles. But I got divorced and so all my tools are at my fathers shop until I get a house with a garage again.

9krpmrx8 06-08-2009 09:45 AM

Okay I did everything this weekend except my brakes. So I will doing just my front rotors and pads since I have not received my rears and won't by this weekend.
