September 24th (Drive through the Metroplex)
 

A group of my buddies in or around Dallas are going to be driving from around Addison to Glen Rose and stopping along the way at Texas Motor Ranch to watch some cars on the track. I realize that a lot of you will be at the Zoom-Zoom Event, but we wont be passing by that area untill about 12-2pm. Would love it to have some Mazdas with us.

We will be starting from Addison and its going to be casual driving through gorgeous Benbrook and out passed Cresson after we get out of the metroplex of course. If anyone is interested I can produce maps and more specific times. We'll most likely have some rx8's from rx8club.com.

What prompted me to do this? Well I drive down to Austin to drive for the Hill Country Drives that are blast! Look it up for more info. Thats also 3hrs away though. I'd like to generate some interest in may a monthly/bi-monthly drive where we can all get together, maybe grab some lunch, have some photo-ops, etc. All of this wrapped into casual/semi-spirited drving (nothing illegal by any means) through some of DFW's less civilized areas.
