RX-Club of Houston June 2011 Monthly Meet 6/14 @ Freebird's
The June meeting is on the horizon and we think a little summer cruisin' is in order.
So come on out and be ready to roll for quick cruise around our fair city after the sun dips below the horizon.
The route will start at the Freebird's parking lot and will take about 30 minutes to complete. The route is designed to take advantage of roads with little or no stopping and right turns to minimize splitting up the pack. We hope you can roll with us in June!
So come out and join us at Freebird's for some food and fun.
Where: 3745 Greenbriar St, Houston, TX 77098
When: June 14th 2011 -/- Parking lot at 6, Dinner at 7, Cruise at 9?

I was thinking on proposing on driving Kirby towards Allen park way. drive it all the way to downtown and then come back on it towards Shepperd, turn right and get on memorial drive towards the clover like thing where one exits to go towards heights boulevard-- if you can go around it above 50 mph its very fun.

Yeah me and 2 other rx7 that where at the front took the wrong exit right before Allen park way on south. But we looped back towards Allen park way and didnt see the others so we drove back to freebirds.
Remember that rx7 that wouldn't start? Well they hauled it with a truck in attempt to start it, but it didn't. What it did instead was shoot a one foot flame from the exhaust, it looked akin to the after burners of a jet since the flame was constant. We had the guy park the car again and call a tow truck that took 2 hours to get there.

Was it really throwing flames? That's awesome! Yeah I got lost when we got on 45 and the RX7s took the very next exit which was on the left. I had a car blocking the ramp, so I had to miss it. Just ended up going home and I think some RXs followed me, lol.
