Repairs! Need advice!

Hey everyone, I have an '04 with 97k miles on it. I brought my care into Paretti the other day to have it looked at for a check engine light and a few other issues. According to them I have to have several repairs done including new rotors, a new clutch and or flywheel, new oil pan, new spark plugs, wires and core packs, and I have to get a fuel injection flush. The total estimate for all of the repairs is $4577.55 which I think is outrageous. I am having them send me an itemized list for all of the repairs and labor but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other repair shops that are knowledgeable about rotaries. I'm trying to find somewhere that can do it for cheaper. I also want to know what everyone thinks about the price and extent of work they say needs to be done. Thanks everyone!

1. what were the symptoms?
what codes were pulled from the CEL?

Are we talking about brake rotors or engine rotors?
Does your clutch feel like it's slipping?
why would you need a new flywheel? (or is he wanting to do that while he's working in that area)
why in the world do you need a new oil pan? (turbo?)

This sounds like a LOT of work to suddenly be done on an 8.

Where on the Gulf Coast? That might help us, but that price is WAY out of line.
Some of the items they list may not really be needed. Can't really say. When they give you the itemized list.......put it on here.
Search around on here and you will get a feel for prices.

Hmmmmm....didn't even consider they could mean engine rotors.............hell, you can get a whole new engine for what they wanna charge.

I am in the New Orleans area. The clutch definitely feels like it is slipping and the reason for the new oil pan is a gasket leak....not sure why they can't just replace the gasket. I have not gotten the codes from the CEL yet. As far as rotors are concerned, I am talking about brake rotors. I get a ton of pulsing when stopping. They are warped very badly. And for the new flywheel, the tech said he wanted to either replace it or try and resurface it since he would be in the area anyway. As soon as I get more info, and the itemized list I will put that on here. Thanks for the help so far!

Get the rotors resurfaced somewhere else or buy new rotors and install them yourself.
