Paint and Body Shop?
 

As some of you know, my car was keyed last weekend. I have received one estimate for $1444.83! A couple people around the boards and the meets said they knew of some good shops that could fix me up. Anyone have someone they trust and won't rip me?

Try service king. I've had a car fixed there before and the service was excellent. Q, are you going through insurance? Sounds like your deductible would be a cheaper alternative.

hey brian i need to get my bodyshop/paint guys # tomorrow. he wou't screw you over and i trust his work. i guess i have to cause he has my car right now. its over in watauga though. not sure what distance you are willing to drive.

I've had mine to Herb's Paint and Body #3 in Richardson (They're a chain I guess). They were real professionals and even cleaned my interior. The prices seemed about average, but service and quality were definately above average.

I am willing to travel how ever far I have to. I am trying to avoid insurance, but may not have a choice.

i can almost guarantee the you will not see a cheaper price then your deductible, unfortunately. i worked all day today but i iwill get that number for you sometime this friday./

This is a bit of a drive but the guy that gives all us rotary people the best deal I have found is a guy named Martin with a shop directly across from Gotham Racing in Fort Worth.
If you are interested let me know and I will get you the number.

Brian, I've sent an email to a friend of mine and as soon as he gets back to me, I'll let you know if he knows of someone that does good work without costing a lot.

Thanks guys. I know I won't find one cheaper than my deductible, but my insurance will go up so I'm just trying to keep it off. If all else fails I'll put it on. If anyone has phone #s, bring them tomorrow if you are coming or send me a PM. It looks like I'll be recovered by tomorrow and ready for round 2 (I promise to cause no problems!)

i'm checking on my car today so i'll grab my guys card and bring it out to Rack Daddy's tomorrow night!
