So do I. About a mile away from Klein High School off of Louetta.

legendkurado 08-10-2007 01:33 PM

i want to install gauges ^ ^ lol rob those defi are killers man >.<

legendkurado 08-10-2007 03:19 PM

i know GRRrrRRRRr RRRrr ROARrr I'm getting the gauges from ASAA Racing.. hope they aren't going to try to rip me off >.< they said if i buy the whole package from them they will give me a 10 percent discount.. but they might try to rip me off in the beginning anyways.. from a quick list price they told me the total will come out to be around 700 for three gauges and a link controller and defi doesn't make afr gauges... not that i need oen to keep in my car anyways right? perhaps the installer/tuner will have one handy to just use?

I got some espilir springs I've been holding on to for the past year that I've been wanting to install and need to replace my diff/tranny oils. Would definitely love to get those done especially with a group effort since I'm no professional. I might as well try to get some shocks too...Car is at the dealership right now though getting a brand new engine put in (i'm an unfortunate member of the new engine club) but was told it should be ready by thursday. I'm in southwest but wouldn't mind driving up north.

prafessa 08-13-2007 10:56 AM

Would love to come out Wednesday, but I work in St. Louis Mon-Thurs. You guys meet at all on Friday/weekends?? Also not sure if you went looking but I couldn't find any Redline at all anywhere in Houston and just ended up ordering it from Rosenthal along with the crush washers. My car is supposedly going to be ready by Tuesday, but not sure if there is any truth behind it so I'm not sure if I'll even have the ride by this weekend or not.

prafessa 08-13-2007 11:16 AM

went to all three of those place and none of them carried it. Even called NAPA as well and they didn't carry it (they have Royal Purple). The guy at Pep Boys said my best shot was to try a performance shop. So instead of spending another half a day searching I opted out for the easy way and hit up Rosenthal.

prafessa 08-13-2007 11:29 AM

dammit and I always drive by that place and not once did it come to mind. ohh well. If you want to save yourself a drive I can scoop it up (wouldn't mind checking out what else they got in there). Its a ways away from 1960.

legendkurado 08-13-2007 03:46 PM

rob!! you work near me!! i work on harwin and gessner ;p

½mv² 08-13-2007 04:46 PM

Hey, guys:

Try to keep the regular chit-chat in the general North Houston thread. Let's preserve this one specifically for detials regarding the upcoming install party. If we turn both threads into general chit-chat, no one's going to know what's going on, and people are going to show up at odd hours on the wrong days.

DrKillJoY 08-13-2007 11:57 PM

/yes, please try to keep threads on topic.. that's a great idea. For one to one communication try to use PMs or IM applications.
