After the debacle with the dealership Parts Dept. yesterday, I am now not sure I want to do the OEM appearance package, or at least not completely. It is so much more affordable, but I am having cold feet. I am trying to determine if it would be worth it to look into a replica body kit, or portions from different kits. If I change the rear bumper, I will probably go with the MS version, but if I am restricted by money, I think the rear would be the lowest priority. I really like Racing Beat's side skirts and their rear fairings. I used to really like the front, but I don't know where I stand on that now either. I think it looks good, but it is so different from the OEM or pretty much any other aftermarket front. The other front I like is the Tsunami. The only thing with that is the fact that it doesn't accomodate the side markers. It might not be that big of a deal, because for resale purposes, I probably will keep the OEM front, so I could just switch it out once per year to get inspected. I've heard police won't pull you over because of no side markers, but if they pull you over for something else and they notice it, it could be a problem. I can do my research, and cover my butt by verifying fitment and quality information from the seller of the replica before I purchase. I just don't want to go through the hassle of leaving my car with a body shop to have the kit painted and installed, if it is going to end up costing as much as getting a genuine prepainted kit when all is said and done. Anyone know of any reliable body shops in the Mid Cities or Lewisville area? I saw that Jenkins recommended one off of 377 and 820. Is that the 377/820 area near Haltom City and North Richland Hills, or do those two cross paths somewhere else, maybe W. Forth Worth? Any experiences with what it costs to have a replica painted and installed or maybe just itemized costs (front, side skirts, etc...)? Thanks
