Looking for an experienced rotary driver for some pointers.
As I’m new to rotary’s in general, I’m trying to learn how to best extract as much power/fun as I can out of my car. The power curve on the RX’s is different then most other cars, and I’m not sure I’m doing everything I can to maximize its potential. I’m pretty close to having over 600 miles on the car, so I can now start to have some fun and get up above 5000rpm.
For those of you who are rotary experienced, I would like to have one you critique my driving style, shifting, launching etc….. to make sure I’m driving the car in a way that gets the most fun with the least amount of undue wear and tear. I’m still rather new to driving stick (less than 3 years), so I’m always looking for pointers to make myself a better driver. I really want to find someone with auto-x/race experience if possible. I’ll buy lunch, I figure it will only take a couple of hours tops. I really enjoy my car, and I want to get as much out of it as I can. PM me if your interested, I'm in the Galleria area I really appreciate the help. |
I would talk to rotarygod about extracting power. He's so smart :D. Move over Dave Coleman!
