Lafayette 8s?
 

I just moved to Lafayette to go to ULL and I've noticed there aren't many 8s around. I met a guy at a light that had a white FC and he said he has a silver '95 FD, but that's all I've seen concerning rotary.

Anyone live around or near Lafayette, LA:uhh: ?

I live about a hour away from you in alexandria. Hit me up sometime. There is a small group of 8's around here...about 5. Last night a few of us went cruising. All are stock for the time but im just waiting for my warranty to go out in 2k miles so i can install my nitrous and exhaust.

I just got back from Lafayette and when I was up there I saw 2 white ones 3 silver ones and 1 vr.

I drive a VR MS Kitted 8 with red lugs.

Alexandria and Lafayette is the closest to me that I have seen on here.

Representing the capital city here, Baton Rouge. We have a few 8's around here in various states of tune.

hey welcome to the area. as far as i know there are 2 rx8s in laffy. and a 3 that is a custom project. alot of the mazdas in the area belong to www.evolvnola.com. evolv and the 8 forums should be able to put you in touch with more people. i know we just had a meet in laffy and are planning one in br soon.

Hey quinchu and altair, i just got back here from Houston, lived here last school year but last year i didnt have my 8 so its about a week old in la. I go to slcc though, only other 8 ive seen so far is a silver one, didnt see the driver tho. I'm down for a cruise though, i'm of pinhook. Been scared push my car to hard here though because ive heard tons of horror stories about having a car with tx plates as far as cops go.

Where around pinhook? I kept seeing a blue one in an apartment complex called Oakwood Bend, but I doubt that's you heh.

Anyways, don't be scared around laffy, just be cautious! There are quite a bit of police but if you know how to drive safe and fast then you're fine here! Plus I have texas tags on my car, need to replace them soon with LA tags.. :)

oddly enough that probably is me lol, i live in the neighborhood thats to the left of those apts, pin hook and s. beaux pre. Although may not be because i never really go in those apts, just cut infront of them alot

sorry bro ive been busy with the move and trying/failing getting a job...on the upside im painting my rims this week, anyone painting thiers to soon? also, anyone have some jack stands i could borrow? big problem i ran into painting my rims :beer:

this week i saw a red 8 with strakes (gt i think didnt get a good look), a white one, and a winning blue non gt. anyone own theese?

saw a grey gt at a light, about a 50ish yr old woman driving, i still waved and she smiled and waved back!
