that's hilarious... I spend 20 seconds searching for the Houston Rx8 club, hoping that I'll get to drive some fun way's and the meeting spot is 1 mile from home... *sniff*

LOL. Well come on down to the Tuesday meeting.

The northside meeting is a response to quell the pleas of the guys who apparently say the inner loop is tooo far to drive. At least someone likes to dirve their Mazda.

See you there!

I'd be there but I'll be at the Texas / Ohio State game. If you make this a regular deal, I'll be there the next time.

Actually there are lots of people that live on the north side. It's the people from the rest of town that complain it's too far to come up here. Even you have complained that northside meets are too far away!

I like driving my gas guzzling rx8 so I'll probably be there unless I'm watching the game somewhere. Isn't the hooters going to be a little packed ... it's a huge game in terms of college football.

haha, ya if it was far, I'd have to have alot of modifications to convice myself of the drive.... Because I have to admit, sometimes the gas is not worth it...

...so pretty much if I didn't have NOS... It wouldn't be worth it...

Yes, it is far to come on weeknights.

Please note, I am not only speaking for only myself but for those whol ive as far as Freeport, Clear Lake, Katy, Baytown and elsewhere around town.

The current locale of the Tuesday night meetings are based on the simple premise of where many (not all) people are coming from to the Tuesday night meetings (ie, work) having them closer to the center of town makes sense since we have a strong level of support from those who work in the West Belt, Galleria, Downtown and Medical Center areas.

I have never objected about distances for weekend meets or other special events.
