I'm in Arlington at the moment for a little while and I was hoping while I am here I could get help from other fellow RX8 guru's with a few minor problems. I need help trying to figure out why my battery light will not go off even after a new battery and alternator installtion, and if possible resolve my P0661 CEL code. I have taken my my SSV out before and cleaned it but code is still there.

 

check the cables, the battery light should come on when it senses a voltage drop below 11.2V on your battery discharge..... Your alternator should be charging at a range from 13.2V to 14V.
