Gas Price Gouging!
 

:rant: OK.....This is BS...I live in N AL...and Gas has gone up almost a dollar a gallon for regular in some areas. Lucky the 8 is full, and the Jeep I only had to top off, but this is ridiculous.

AL has declared a state of emergency so those that do this can be prosecuted, but it may spread, so ya'll might want ot watch for this. This story is out of Houston.

Yeah it jumped almost $0.15 from this morning by me. Sucks!!! They need to hurry up and start drilling alaska or something because this is a bunch of crap.

I don't think it is considered price gouging...the off land drilling sites, refineries and plants in Houston(largest in U.S.) are shut down so production from those facilities have ceased until the storm passes. The national average per barrel has rose considerably as a result of this. The U.S. will hold out on Alaska until our economy is dead or we suck up every other countries supplies which global warming's effects are surely to impact greatly before that would ever happen.
