My wife has family in Bella Vista, and theres 2 things I like: driving on the hill sides and MacaDoodles-when u cross the state line. THe 1 thing I hate. The dam dealership in Spingdale is too far.

I live and work in Fayetteville. I have seen a couple of other red's in town. I have a Red 04 AT w/ fender strakes. If you see me driving around, give me a honk...

Last year there was a biker and car get together every Tuesday night at La Hurta at the corner of 45 and 265, I drove thru a few times and there was usually an 8 or two parked in amongst the souped up rice burners.

Not sure if they will start that back up in the spring or not.

Hey they moved the dealership to Bentonville. They have the new layout and it is very nice.

1 more from Fayetteville. I drive a black 8 that's usually around the university. We should meet up in Fayetteville one of these days now that it's getting warmer.

I have a copper red in Eureka Springs. Give me 1/2 a reason, no a 1/4 reason to drive 23 > 12 > 127 > 12 > 71 to Fayetteville and I'm there.

One of many black rx-8s in Bentonville

I lived in Fayettevile in early 2005 but I moved up to Bentonville. I drive a black rx-8 with JIC springs and exhaust. I like the new dealership because I live so close that I can drop off my car and when they ask me if I need a ride somewhere, I politely decline and jog back to my apartment.

I'm all about a cookout of any kind this summer. If someone doesn't announce anything by the end of June, I'll post something to stir up some attention. I cannot host much, but I'm sure someone on these board can?

I live in Little Rock, but my car went crazy visiting NW AR a couple of months ago. The people at Superior were so nice to me, I wanted to send them a letter. Compared to what we've got in Little Rock, I'm almost willing to roadtrip for maintenance... :)

RotaryRush 06-10-2007 11:53 AM

I'm located in North Little Rock area.

dizzysyd 06-10-2007 11:33 PM

I see 8s all over Little Rock. I'm surprised more owners don't post on here...

Arky8 06-04-2008 07:44 AM

I work on 6th street in Fayetteville. But usually not down there on the weekends.

im2smart4u 06-05-2008 07:59 PM

Anyone know of any local clubs/meets anywhere in Arkansas. As I said earlier, mine is stock, but I would like to see some in person to help me decide what I want to do. Also, I have no experience at all with the rotary, so any tips other than checking oil and rev high would be appreciated.l

How far in arkansa are yall from the louisiana state line?

im2smart4u 07-27-2008 10:23 AM

I'm in Fayetteville... the other side of the state... so, about 5 hours. My parents live in Magnolia, though... That is about 10 min from the Louisiana state line.

Cellis24142 07-27-2008 06:42 PM

If you are ever in NWA, you have to take the HWY 16 west from Fayetteville to Siloam Springs and then back again. The 4 mile strech from just west of Fayetteville to Lake Wedington is made for the 8. Much fun. I tend to take a few long lunch hrs and drive that when I need a little break from work.:)

Also, the Pig Tail (HWY 23) between Ozark and Fayetteville, has been mentioned in Car and Driver over the years as one of the best drives for a sports car in the country. Very winding and steep. Some 10 to 15 mph curves that just seem to straighten out in the 8... :evil_laug
