I just wanted to add, DO NOT BUY AN ABC OR A BC FIRE EXTINGUISHER FOR YOUR CAR! Normal compact fire extinguishers are sodium bicarbonate based- very corrosive. Get a Halotron extinguisher. They are not as high pressure as CO2. Halogen is going the way of freon. It is bad for the atmosphere. Halotron is the replacement.

The fire department moved the car. It was on US177 right next to the Sooner power plant.

I know the grass looks a little sparse, but I wonder if they had some other mechanical problem, pulled over and the CAT set the grass on fire?
Just remember....that can happen, I've seen it before with a vehicle where the CAT is much higher up than ours!

I'll buy that theory. The driver's front tire was unmolested by the fire, yet it is shredded. Also the driver's rear tire was pushed up way more than it should go. Also, there was a small roadkill on the other side of the highway from where the car was. It may have gotten caught somewhere and the driver threw it across the road after coming to a stop.
