Best Service Dept in Houston?

Going to be taking my car in for a few things. I have read post after post of the terrible service ppl are getting at some dealerships. Any personal experience with a good service dept anywhere in Houston? Preferably West side....Thanks guys

seems like Haas and MYers get the last amount of complaints. There is someone on the forum that swears by Marks....

IMO - its a crap shoot.

If you don't mind heading to I45 and 1960, I got some great service from Donavan Fritzinger at Munday Mazda. They fixed a dash rattle, checked on some clutch noise, and changed my oil.

There wasn't anything wrong with my clutch, but he was sure to show me that it had been documented that I brought it in for a clutch issue incase there was a problem later. He also took great care to fix my dash. They had to take it apart 3 times because they couldn't track it down. They used the correct oil, plus even after checking for a sneaky rattle, they only put 6 miles on my car.

I was very pleased with him.

Joe Meyers on 290W has been good to me so far...

Joe Myers has awesome service. Like every dealership, go early. The people there are nice, and they recognize me since I go there every three months to get an oil change, or to find out why my TPMS light is on, only to realize I need air in the tires. :p

Thanks for the input guys. Joe Myers isnt that far from me ( I think) I have friends on the North Side, so at least I have some places to start and some options.

Joe Meyers just did the "new" M-flash. In and out in half an hour.

Donavan is the man. Munday is just across the street from us and it's awesome. He cares about what he does. We even got a free Zoom Zoom sticker.

Thanks again for the input here fellow 8ers

You live up here too! Cool!

RG, You recommend Munday as well?

Soundwave3k 12-19-2004 05:19 PM

My recommendation would be Jeff Haas Mazda on the Katy Freeway. I went to them after the people at nearest dealership to me (Mazda of Clear Lake) acted like a bunch of asses. The service manager at Jeff Haas really took good care of me - he did the latest flash, oil change, and noted that I needed an alignment. He also reminded me that Mazda will do that for free in the first 12000 miles and took cae of it right there and then. Since it was a long wait he had someone drop me off and pick me up from Memorial City Mall (his offer) so that I could get my X-Mas shopping done in the meantime!

And all of this was for their price for an oil change - about $18 with tax! Oh, and they always give you a complimentary car wash too. :)

Actually I was just commenting on the "across the street" from Munday comment since that is the closest dealer to me. Jeff Haas has my #1 vote but I've heard nothing bad about Munday.

Cool RG and soundwave. Jeff Haas is alot cloer for me too. Use Munday if for some reason I cant get in to Jeff Haas.
