Any east texas owners?
 

Hey! I just got my first RX-8 and I am pretty new to the forum and have noticed most meets or events are in Dallas/Houston/Austin...... aka major cities.

I'm a college student in Tyler and I don't mind making a drive every now and then (approx. 2-4 hours for me) but I was just wondering if anybody here lived closer to me or if there was a club/organization more local that I can join?

Hey welcome to the forums, I am not sure who is over in that area but we in the DFW area do a lot of meets and cruises. So one of these weekends you will have to make it out for that, also if you have any questions about your 8 feel free to ask, I am sure that most of the people on here would be more then willing to help out.

Welcome!! There are a couple guys out that way not too many. I go out that way from time to time to go off roading in Gilmer, Texas. It's a nice drive out, I'd like to take the 8 out that way someday.

I'm some what in the same boat. I just bought my 8, she's an 07' and is my new addiction. lol I live in Rockwall so its not AS far as Tyler but its still like an hour to anywhere. I don't really know of any meets. Is their a certain thread where every thing is organized or shown for the DFW area?

Hey, I typically hang with the DFW crew. You're welcome to swing by the house and say Hi sometime. I do occasionally throw parties on this side of town - some of which the memories (or lack thereof) will live on for generations...

Most meets are over in Grapevine (you're welcome to ride out or follow me out sometime) but every once in awhile we'll have a meet on the Dallas side. Mostly when I get tired of driving to BFE and plan one over here.

Yeah, after several parties of seeing your ass, I think it would be hard to forget too...

Damn i didnt know we had this many peoples from texas! Trying to find a co pilot to go to Arizona and Vegas with me june 13th throught he 20th!!!
