I just found a buyer already...just waiting for my new wheels that I just paid for. I don't want to track on the new wheels. It was between those wheels and FN's but I got a little greedy haha.

Whenever funds come up again...FN's and nice tires are on top of the list.

phrenetiK 09-16-2010 02:09 PM

what are the new wheels?

Good luck and stay in second gear if possible. Also don't rev past 8500RPMs'.

phrenetiK 09-16-2010 03:11 PM

thanks...and until jeff mails me my cobb I cant get past 8200 RPMS :D

Looks like fun, I might go to the next one though I feel more comfortable at an Auto-X learning the 8. Not quite up to stuff to intentionally break traction with confidence.

phrenetiK 09-16-2010 05:49 PM

thats what happens when youre buying your first car and you havent learned to drive a stick. had no dad to teach me and even though my mom had a 2002 ws6 transam....she sold it before i was 14 and never taught me anything :D

Let me get them in first...lets just say I didn't expect to end up with these wheels. I guess I will blend in with my friends haha.

Why not? Ive done many auto-x's where I reached 10000 in 2nd gear. Not really worth to shift to 3rd then immediately downshift to 1st for a hard corner.

I imagine that's to stay in the beefier part of the power band for that exact reason. A way of making the gearing line up for the corners without actually changing them LOL

And without making his gear shifter pull a Viper ACR at 'The Ring'
