The RxDuino will come with the firmware installed so no, you technically do not need a windows machine. However, if I release updates to the firmware you will need a way to install them if you want to keep up to date.

There are software alternatives for mac users that I am currently working on.

Added thanks

Also took the group buy number up to 20 in case we get more people who want some after we meet our goal and before we end the group buy.

yes and yes , remember i designed this product so that not only can we unlock more features down the road with the firmware, but also have expansion slots so that we can add some cool features with hardware (wifi, bt, sdcard, etc etc etc)

Wow. I really am a blithering idiot when it comes to computer stuff. You may have well just said, bnvilsbabkahblidvhliskakewovnsjlkvnxjkcznv. lol. I'll just trust your expertise and do what I'm told when told too.

Sounds exciting though. I cant wait.

So looks like we have met the minimum requirements which I am very excited about. I was planning on giving it until Friday but it looks like I need to head out of town this coming weekend. Therefore the group buy will continue to Sunday May 6th. At that time I will close the group buy and will start accepting deposits.

Paimon, is the PID list finalized?

Are we going to be able to see any ABS/DSC data? It would be nice (especially for the racers) to get brake pressure sensor data, steering angle, wheel speed data, etc. made available as well.

Of course we can . The way I designed the RxDuino, there will be no hardware changes required to start sensing other part of the car's sensor system. For example, even after you purchase the rxduino, if we add more pids, and abs/dsc data like you mentioned, i save it, and you can download it from the RxDuino website.

Add me please. Been out of town and missed the start of the GB, would have been very disappointed. Thanks for all the work Paimon. Also, count me in as interested in a Track Pack add on. If I could do all the car data plus gps speeds/lap times, I would do a little dance.

what I will do is send a mass PM to all on the group buy with my paypal id. I request that your paypal address reflect the shipping address to avoid any confusion. Also, please try to leave a comment on the paypal payment making note of your forum name.

After much much much debate, in addition to a rock hitting my windshield and developing into a 1.5 ft crack in a day , I would like to put my name down also.
