I'll have to check our inventory again but I believe we have 2-3 sets left.
We currently have 9k/6k coilovers left in stock.

help me understand the 9k/6k? please !

yomomspimp06 12-14-2012 11:09 AM

maybe these two links will help. Use the first link to reference your stock spring rate. the second link will help you convert the coilovers rates of 9k in the front and 6k in the rear to comparable numbers
Link 1
Link 2

So i guess the way i read it that 9k/6k is going to be a very harsh ride

On the contrary, the 9k/6k springs are very comfortable on the street for daily driving as intended. Stiffness is adjustable. The shocks have 15 different damper settings: 1 being the softest and 15 the stiffness.

Springs are designed to hold the weight of the car. Shocks or dampers are what actuate the suspension or determine the speed of the stroke of the shock.

You can increase some of the performance of the coilovers by going with a stiffer spring however ride quality will be compromised. Mathematically our dampers will handle a + or - 2k (increase or decrease) in spring rate with out having to require re-valving from the standard base set up. (9k/6k)

We have done 10k/7k springs and 11k/8k springs for drifting/autocross and road course racing purposes to increase the performance of the coilovers.

yomomspimp06 12-14-2012 01:48 PM

can these be revalved/rebuilt? If so how much?

Damn! I do not think I'm going to be able to hold out on these much longer. Wish I knew shit about good performance suspension vs bad.
