He did have the clear (or rather said, more like "smoked" clear) lenses available at some point in time - not sure if he's still offering those.

Well, first of all, thanks for all the nice comments. It is gratifying to see fellow enthusiasts appreciating the products. That is of great importance to me.

On the wiring of the the Rear Rotary Lamp to the front fog light switch. It is, I'm sure, "possible". However, I never was able to follow through to a conclusion as it just wasn't designed for that specific purpose. Most folks want a nice clean way to dress up that rear rotary accent and are not interested in crawling through the trunk and rear seats and carpeting to tie into a switch. If you are handy, I'm sure it could be accomplished.

As for the bulb, Tamas is correct, it is a 194.

On the smoked lens, yes I have made them in the past, but they are not part of the group buy, sorry.

Oh, and nice A$$ NVMYGT ;)

Looks like only 15 puddle lamp slots remain. Another shipment goes out this Saturday, and I will follow up with which orders are covered. Thanks to all who have participated so far.

Derwankel- the lights are BITCHIN! Thanks for sending them so quickly! One thing I was surprised to find is that the LED's that I put in dim just as well as the incandescent bulbs! Just thought I'd let everyone who reads this thread know that it's an option.

I put my own led's in the puddles. I accidentally broke one of the incandescents during installation, so I decided to give it a shot. Works great and they're WAY brighter!

I believe an LED for the puddle would be a 194. I went with an LED in the fog light and thought it matched my LED rear taillights well. I believe that was a 194 also.

Please send me a "Puddles" kit. I don't even have the chrome bumper accent at this time, so the fog light would get rather pricey ($65 + $70 for the acent ring). PayPal is my next stop.

I had some spare 194 LED's from when I switched out my original LED front marker lights with those new crazy super brights from v-leds dot com. The ones I ended up using were 194 6-LED's, super-white. They give that HID blue look, and are very clean. FYI, you can use these same bulbs for your front marker lights (the little round guys that come dull-white from the factory), your map lights, and your license plate light. I'm sure there are other applications, but those are all the lights I swapped out. It's amazing how much $30 worth of LED's can dramatically change the look of your car! Just a word to the wise- keep some extra around. I've had my front LED's in for 4 months now, and had to change them the other week from some burnout.

I don't have the rear foglight, but provided the bulb housing is the same, I don't see any reason why not.

Here is an update. I was slowed a bit this weekend due to attrending a wedding and attending activities for the kids. I also did not receive my superwhite lamps until Saturday so these shipments were delayed until tomorrow (marked as 10.15 below). They are boxed up, addressed and ready to go out the door.

Those that have paid and not shipped yet can expect their shipments to go out by next Saturday, if not sooner. I will provide an update at that time.

I did receive one payment Friday that has no screen name so "JP" if you are on this list you need to send me mail tying your screen name to your PayPal payment.

Thanks for that. I think I don't want a chrome accent in the black bumper area, but the light is intriguing. As I understand it:

1. This is two different fog lamp kits, one is compatible with the accent ring, the other is not. and

2. Most everybody is wiring this into the taillight or brakelight circuit in the trunk, so it does not function as a fog light.

3. I haven't seen any OEM rear fog light accessory (just checked MazdaUSA and Rosenthal). Am I missing something?

The instructions suggest hooking it up to the license plate wires - that's how I did mine too. Piece of cake.

Mazdaparts.com and Canzoomer sell the Japanese fog light kit - MazdaUSA does not carry it.

I'm not exactly the brightest when it comes to these things, sadly I'm a DIY'er which always screws me (anyone remember when I had to buy an entire door panel for my driver side :( anyway, what wires do I tap into to make this a third brake light?
