I still love how nice these look when I get into the car at night. An added bonus is that it helps my chick rummage through her purse when we're getting in or out of the car.

Hi I want a set for sure - do you have red in stock? Thanks!
|
yes I do!
|
Quick question.
I've read throughout the thread that the LED's come on when you open the doors just like the rest of the lights inside the car. But my question is can you get the floor lights to stay on while your driving? Or did I just read something wrong? |

Well, you know I've already got some others installed, but when you think my blues will be on the way? I look forward to seeing what the difference looks like.
Damn.............now due to that other thread, I have to eventually consider the LED clear corners you got as well! :lol2: Dave |
What I would like is this...
If I turn on the headlights with the setting on the white/red display... the footwells will not light up. But when I switch the dash lights over to the "nightime mode" (red/blue glow dash) ... I would like the blue footwell lights to light up at this time. So is this included in the instructions? So the footwells will light up only on one setting of the headlights being on and not the other?? Sorry if this sounds retarted, I hope I explained my question well enough. Either way I'd like a set of blue, do I just send $50 paypal asap?? |

The instructuions I include show you how to hook the lights up to the parking lights, or the door lights. In your case, it would be best just to hook the to the parking lights. That means wheneve your dash lights are one, so would the footwell lights. |
Paypal sent, I look forward to the product. I cant decide which wiring scheme I would like to do?! Are they pretty easily reversable so I can see which setup i like better?

Got Any Blue LED kits left
I'm ready to buy a blue LED footwell set. Are there any left?

Yes, you can switch them around. If you're careful, you can even reuse the wire splices. Otherwise, you'll have to pick up a few at your local auto parts store. |

I ruined the first pair included, and just picked up a pack at RadioShack for a few bucks. As much as it looks like you might be able to pinch these things down with your fingers, pliers are indeed your friend.
You need the pliers to actually pierce the insulation on the wires. At least they're cheap to replace. |
I just got done installing the LED's and they are titties! Just as a heads up tho be prepared to bend in ways you never have!! Also, instead of taping the wire splices I would recommend that they are zip tied ( tape tends to loosen and stick to neighbooring wires). Everything took about 1hr cuz my damn arms couldnt move worth sh%t in the small space under the steering wheel.
|
Just ordered mine last night, cant wait for them, although since I am up North in Canada, probably looking at a couple of weeks :(.
|
Yea, I supply wire ties with them.
Expect to wait 3 weeks or so for your package to make it to Canada. |
The other Canadian guy here. Are my Blue LED's on there way as well?
|
I plan on shipping all the blue orders in a day or two. One of the tubes of blue leds I got was a slightly different hue of blue. So I had to order some replacements. I expect them today or tomorrow. Sorry for the minor delay.
I do have red all ready to ship if anyone else is interested. |
These things have been a HUGE success! Congrats Rasp.
