Well I just figured I'd give my 2 cents after reading all of the negative feedback about dealerships not taking care of the customers. I have a 2004 rx8, i ended up putting 87k on the car after buying it used. It had around 35k on the car. Well this summer it started giving me problems stalling and being hard to start. After taking it to an autozone to user their code reader i found that it had a few error codes. After trying to look them up i called the local mazda dealership and told them what was going on, so i took the car in and had them look at it. They ened up saying I was getting poor compression on the car and asked me a couple of questions. The next day they call me and say hey the tech support line says they're gonna replace your engine free of charge and fix you up. So I guess It's all about what your dealership is like as to what kind of treatment that you recieve. So i'll tip my piss cover to the mazda folks here in bentonville and say thanks for the good work. I get my car back in a week or so after they replace the engine. oohrah

Ok, so I get the car back today with a new engine. Car runs like a champ, but at the shop the guy tells me that i need a new PCM, and quotes me like 700 bucks. I don't remember asking if they had tried flashing it. anyway, when trying to google the PCM i don't come up with much, is the PCM the ECU? all in all, anyone selling a PCM cheap?
