I find it strange that you are the one complaining about this...and not the actual purchaser

So once again...you are complaining about something that wasn't your issue....

........I think that would be nice for a while :)

Your just making excuses for him man. It wasn't the flap that was the issue and it's not like he made a 100 of them, and during the emails and other purchase arrangements, he should have mentioned that there was a known issue with some of the pans. But it is what it is, I respect your position :)

I'm not asking you to forgive or forget anything. I don't agree with continuously crapping on people who are reporting good experiences. You can crap all you want on the general forum or bad guy threads. And say whatever you want, but you and some other people might be further along had you bought your turbo kits from him ....

I get where your coming from, fair point. And you may be right about the Turbo kit, only time will tell. I wouldn't bet on it though.

Sorry..flap was a poor description. It was the top of the enclosure rubbing the oil pickup :)

I bought Scotts' diff mounts recently and just ordered his engine mounts along with some other bits and pieces . They look like a good product and I think he is honoring his commitments so I thought "f it - i want the parts" .

I'm the guy who was ripped off almost $40k by Scott.

Scott is a master at the forum politics. He knows how to create the buzz and have you spend your money.

Problem with Scott is his own history.

After I posted my 'SCAMMED by Scott' post, I soon realized I wasn't the only one that got scammed by Scott. That thread made into some Honda forums, Porsche forums, and other automobile forums, and my inbox was soon filled with many stories from people who were previously ripped off by Scott--most of them were previous Miata, RX7, and RX8 owners.

Most didn't care anymore, and only wished to vent their anger that they couldn't express on their respective forums because Scott had shut them up using a few loyal forum members and select moderators. I got my car towed out of Mazsport with help of one of these guys who just wanted to extend some help.

Before me, there were many members on rx7club.com and miata forums that were ripped off. After me, Scott repeated the same history at mazda3 forum. When Scott closed down shop after my lawyer called, he defrauded many members on this very forum.

I know Scott can sound very professional on the phone, but please remember that it only takes a few praises to get him back on the map. I bet there are a few more rx8's in his shop thanks to this good-guy post. All I ask is, learn from the history. He's a thief. Once he gets his business rolling again, he will screw some people over. I just happened to be the first one that was lucky enough to voice my experience on the forum and not get shut down.
