Dobbs Tire and Auto - Don't go there!
 

I don't know if this is a St. Louis (MO) only chain, but I'd like to warn anyone else who might move here and be tempted to use their services....

Had a screw in my LF tire. Took it to the local Dobbs store that's less than a mile from my work. Told them to plug it and rotate the tires while they were at it.
They called at 11:30 and said the car was ready. I went to the store and paid ($35 for "flat repair" - sheesh and $25 for rotation). Went out to the lot and the tires had quite obviously NOT been rotated. The rears were noticably thinner than the fronts, and that's the situation I'd wanted to correct. They said, "oh, we'll do that for you right away sir" - 25 minutes later, I was one my way, with a half-heared apology from the manager. Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would've written this off as a mistake, but, the SAME THING happened to me at the SAME STORE about 5 years ago when I took my wife's car in for similar services!

Never going there again. Don't trust 'em any farther than you can throw them!

So, they made a mistake and corrected it right away? Am I reading that correctly?
