Very interesting - still will not fix the efficiency issue. But improvements in rotary engine design will help our community.

It does make more sense for low vibration low noise mixed fuel applications like gennies, equipment and aircraft. There is a long military study on the use of Wankels in drones floating around. Ultimately it lost out to turbines, but you can't run everything on JP5. |
