White, silver are top vehicle colors in 2012
If you bought a new vehicle this year, chances are high it was white or silver.Twenty-two percent of cars and trucks built for the 2012 model year have white paint, making it the most popular color worldwide. Silver is close behind, at 20 percent, followed by black at 19 percent. Gray and red follow to round out the top five. |
No blue? lol
Anyway, I have a white one though. :) |
Aren't they always?
|
...and boredom ensues.
What happened to color colors...white, grey, silver, dark grey, black, titanium, pewter... |
That's fine with me,just means I"ll be seen in all that boredom
|
Why are those the top colors?
Because car companies won't sell you the vehicle you want in the color you want. They instead sell them in the colors that people won't lose too much money on when they trade in the car in a couple of years. Black, grey, silver, and white are the colors no one can truly object to. They are neutral. I like the sparkling black mica on my RX-8 because it has depth to it that can't be compared to most blacks offered on other vehicles. BC. |
