It's coming next year. Ford is about a year behind schedule on production, and even once they begin it will ramp up slower than anticipated.
It'll first be used on the Fusion and its' sister-cars in the 2007 model year. This should make the 2006 models resale utter shit, by the way.
Then it will go to the Five Hundred and its' sister-cars for the 2008 model year.
Mazda was rumoured to be getting it for the Mazda6 for the 2007 model year. However, with Ford behind schedule an unable to even outfit their own lineup, I wouldn't expect to see Mazda utilize it until 2008 at the very earliest. Which is actually why for Mazda's upcoming CX-7 Crossport they are not utilizing the new Duratec 35 which I'm sure they'd love to since it's behind schedule, they are instead rumoured to be using the Turbo i4 drivetrain from the MazdaSpeed6.
