i didnt even have time to comment on the thread,
I think the rx8 probably handles better, I love the way the rx8 handles (except for the body roll) but we'll see after the 135 comes out. At this point id rather take a 335 over the 135 for only a couple of grand more. |
what exactly do you guys classify as a better handler?
I've had more fun going around turns in a E39 M5 than i've ever had in my RX8. make note that is a 2 ton beast. |

You mean winding S's going down mountain cliffs? Good luck not flying off the mountain in the M5. Uh yeah.
Better tuned suspension + more sticky rubber. I'm sure the same goes for the 135i. You know, im confident that a proffesional race car driver could get a Lincoln town car faster downa mountain than I could a MX5. |
In Best Motoring's test for the RX8, they said the body roll made the it feel very nervous for high speed maneuvers. They later said the stiffer Mazda speed version no longer experienced that.

Ugghhh...Didn't Jeremy Clarkson say that the RX-8 was one of the easiest cars to drive fast? Didn't he and his co-host also state in the same video clip that the RX-8 pulled the same time as the M3 and 350Z?
I'm waiting to see a video where the 135i outruns, outhandles the M3.:uhh: |
Mods, please change the title of this thread to "Debate: Direct Comparison of playdoh43 and Startl_Response's Positions on Handling" to more accurately reflect the content.
Thanks |
I have a better idea.
