not as much as the RX-8. :superdodgy:

lol, you'd kill it @ 85-120mph if thats what you're looking for

I'm just wondering seeing how the two compare and contrast. I just ordered a greddy turbo kit so...and aside from that they walk the stock RX-8 at just about any speed from what Ive seen and experienced...

the difference actually becomes bigger as speed increase.. especially 80-120 :) the Z has a big advantage

but why are you even worried about this? are you planning on racing Zs? What do you gain if you win, or loose to a random Z on the street? Not to mention Z's are a lot cheaper to mod and there are tons of NA Zs that runs low 12 seconds and FI 500-700whp Z's out there... its kinda pointless, just enjoy your car and have fun with it. dont worry about Zs, there are always someone faster out there.

GT-R is faster than a Z. Anyday, Anywhere.

Except in japan where the GTR is limited to 112 mph, unless your at an authorized nissan track.

with a greddy turbo at 9 psi, you should have a 10-20 whp advantage in addition to having the weight advantage. You should consider getting the BHR turbo kit, or the MM greddy upgrade kit if you want higher power levels with more torque.

2003 350z dyno about 230 whp and 220 lbft
2005 about 240whp
the new ones2007+ or "hr's" dyno closer to 260whp

those would be the numbers i've seen more often thent not... power/weight wise a rx-8 needs to make 210-220 rwhp to match

That seems a bit high.
I read on the Z forum some time back that they range from 225-235 whp bone stock.

playdoh43 06-13-2008 09:08 PM

yeah, i didnt notice hes talking about the old version of the z, i was refering to the 306hp version

Z has 0 drivetrain loss. As your KILL post count increases in my350z.com, so does your hp gain.
