Specialized Car Forums... The mark of a GREAT CAR
I was thinking that one of the indicators of a really great car is the reaction it causes on it's owners and the following and loyalty it commands. And one of the indicators of a great folowing is the fact that the car has a web comunity dedicated to it. To my knowing this are the top comunities or cars that spawn this kind of following.
RX8 Obiously!!! Miata www.miata.net Mini: www.mini2.com Subaru WRX/STI ??? Mitsubichi Evolution VIII: ??? Toyota Matrix www.matrixowners.com Honda Civic: ??? does it matter? dodge Viper www.viperalley.com Ford Mustang www.mustangsforums.com post other forums that you know about and what you think of them. |
I had a Ford Probe GT before and I really liked that car. The ProbeTalk forum is pretty good. Knew a few people posting there and learned a lot about the car - just like I do here too.

mustang forum link doesn't work

Subaru is http://www.nasioc.com/ , a huge forum... also http://www.i-club.com/, but that's not as big these days.
There's a huge amount of Honda forums out there, such as http://www.honda-tech.com/ ... Despite the ricers, Honda does have a lot of good technology and the aftermarket is huge. Mazda Proteges, excellent cars, have http://www.msprotege.com/, a huge forum dedicated primarily to Mazda Proteges, Protege5s and Mazdaspeed Proteges. Edit: I don't think I said "huge" enough in this post. So here's some more: huge huge huge huge. |

www.nsxprime.com very informative forum

For STi owners---> http://www.iwsti.com/forums/
Its a great forum, most are mature enthusiasts. |
For Integra/RSX owners: www.team-integra.net
It might be one of the largest car forums on the net. It also has step-by-step articles on how to upgrade and perform maintenance on your car. A very cool atmosphere overall. I felt like I was a part of the "team." |

www.vfaq.com I know it's a little off topic (not being a forum), but it's close. It's a site for DIY jobs on Talons and Eclipes'. I wouldn't mind seeing something like this for our cars.

also
www.rx7club.com (would have thought you guys would have put this in the first post) www.m3forum.com |
yes, sorry about RX-7club, aparently I have it undetachably linked to THIS forum in my mind. I should have mentioned the quality of the forum also reflects on the quality of the car. I dont just mean a "I have a RiceRocket5000 and just killed 3 porshes, 2 vipers and a Ferrari going down I 75" forums I mean forums where you can actualy get usefull info on the cars.
