selling my 92 accord wagon. how much?

I have a 1992 Honda accord wagon that I drive when it snows. it has 156,000 miles on it. It needs a new winshield (175$) and muffler (125$). Other than that it is is good condition. The car had the engine replace at 35,000 miles, so there is really only 120000 on this engine. the car is the LX edition with power windows and locks and a sunroof. I am selling the car and asking $1900. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a selling price? Should I mention to people that it had the engine replaced or should I not tell them?

I would tell them that the engine was replaced. Most people would see that as the odometer really having 35,000 less miles on it.

500

500 yeah right. These engines can go to 400,000 if taken care of. This thing is just getting broken in at 120000.

i had an 89 lx-i sedan so i know how good they are. i was giving you a hard time;) i bought mine when it already had 100k on it and just broken in:) has the timing belt been done on the new engine? if so 1500 to 1900 is a fair price.

hey i had an 89 lx-i sedan too. I gave it to my friend who then got it impounded and never got it out. What a loser. Anyway, I dotn think it has had a new timing belt. Anybody know why people keep advertising these accord wagons as "very hard to find." I was able to find a good amount of them for sale.

argghh timing belt should be done by 80k.

mine was stolen from the NJ state fair. found 29 days later stripped on a street in Philly. headlights seats steering wheel wheels mirrrors wheels shifter and shift boot bumbers radio antenna glove box lid etc etc lots more. esitimate to repair was more than i purchased it for and the insurance company still wanted to fix it. took over amonth for the shop to get all the parts in on and the car painted. plus they paid for a rental for the 2 months i was out of the car total. never did understand why they just didnt total the thing
