i tell you what....that car is "FUGLY". but its headlights do look cool

Glyphon 06-07-2005 11:45 AM

yup. and one of the listed parts was HID 7500k. actual laser headlights would be a bad idea, unless you didn't actually want to see where you were going.

I think that different projector headlights will do the same thing if the conditions are right. My stock celica headlights would look like that in the snow/fog. I always thought it looked cool, but my crappy camera was never able to take the picture correctly :(

Lasers are meant to have a tight confined beam, with little dispersion as distance increases. This would be a TERRIBLE idea for car headlight as you would not be able to see a wide angle. Also, a laser that was strong enough to be seen would most like be dangerous to people looking at it..hence defeating the purpose

i am from that part of the world so i wud comfortably tell beams are not created as the effect of foggy conditions. i believe its from the powerful HID 7500 he installed.

what i meant "laser beam"....certainly not the real laser ofcourse :D

XDEEDUBBX 06-07-2005 04:11 PM

haha just some high output HID's...i trying to configure my laser pen into my headlight so i can blind people..haha

most lights will do that given the right conditions. it's just light being bounced off the dust particle in the air.
It's the way the picture was taken that "enhances" that look

I may have missed it, but where did y'all get lasers from?

The guy admitted that that was no laser or special HID either too... just a taiwan HID bulb.

In fact he is also surprised the photo came out that dramatically.
