I was asking how much work is required to take a FWD transmission and set it up for regular RWD use. Is it just moving a few mounting brackets, changing how the driver's gearshift feeds in, changing the location of the fluid cap, etc... etc... or do you basically have to start from scratch?

You would need to pretty much start from scratch. Transversely mounted transmissions and longitudinally mounted transmissions are shaped very differently and so are not easily converted from one type to the other.

Excellent! I hope it didn't take too much of your time to educate me. Thanks very much.
