ahahha i have that car. hold down the reset key. wait till it blinks. hold it down for 6 seconds. release. hold down for another 6 seconds.
bam! your done. dealer can also tell ya. its not in the book |
with just the key on?
does not work.. beers  |
i think you have to pull the choke.... ;)

Its a Civic.. who cares
|
figures, they steal the manual but not the car...lol
and people complain about our resale values. |
^Maybe its because we keep our manuals hmm.. maybe if I start stealing them from other 8's our resale might go up Hmmm.... might be onto something

you place the key in, hold the reset button (the one that resets the trip meter), while holding the button turn the key to the accessory position (position II not turning on the car). Just hold the button for a while (10 seconds) then the light should turn off, after that turn it off then turn back on to see if it the light turned off, if not do it again. My mom having an accord and reading it in the manual (which I know you said was stolen) made it easy to avoid stealership

On my Honda if I get a cel, all I have to do is keep driving it. After 3 complete drive cycles it turns itself off if there is no further issues. I used to worry about resetting it if it came on. Now I just drive.

Damn I've had this problem for a week now with my Buick.
Too busy to disconect the battery. Damn light, theres plenty of oil. If this crap keeps up I won't pass smog in July and will have to buy a new car. |
