so as we all know by now porsche has released a 4 door 500hp turbocharged v8 conventional awd super UGLY supercar pricing right around 180k but ferrari seems to be jealous of this untapped market and released a frankenstein family car of their own....the FF a 650hp v12 two door four seater with a *retarded* awd system coming in at 300k msrp.

what are your guys's opinions considering we have four door sports cars this seems like our territory.lookswise? complete garbage? worth it for the extra cargo space? do you need to go fast with kids in the back? is your wife really going to hit 200mph going to the grocery store?

keep in mind
M5 is a 550hp v8 turbo 4door rwd
m3 is a 450hp N/A v8 4door rwd
maserati quattraporte is a 400hp N/A v8 4 door rwd
aston martin rapide is 450 N/A v12 i belive 4 door rwd
all for LESS than both those cars with the exception of the aston

i belive the M5 is still the best bang for your buck in a saloon supercar

bse50 05-02-2013 05:41 AM

You can't compare the FF to inferior cars like the m5, m3, maserati (ferrari powered) etc.
Its Awd system isn't retarded, it's brilliant!

Those cars are for the stupid rich who don't know what to do with money anyway. For that kind of audience that's the equivalent of an rs4 for a common human being.

Well i was asking you guys to weigh in with your opinions..what do you think of it all? Theres no point or correct answer....just general discussion

godesshunter 05-02-2013 09:52 PM

Id take the Bently

Chrishoky 05-02-2013 10:51 PM

The ferrari looks like an old women with a bad eye lift.

monchie 05-02-2013 11:27 PM

The Porsche...

LifeAfterRx8 05-02-2013 11:41 PM

I like both of them.

I think it's a good combination, supercar plus practicality.

are you just looking to start heated debates with me? lol

id love to participate but lets find a more important topic than panemera vs ff

bse50 05-03-2013 03:10 AM

Nope... i was just stating the truth.

The panamera is basically a vw, the ferrari is a ferrari. Also the Panamera has different engines and trims to choose from so just the top of the line is a real "supercar" of sorts... most others are luxury sedans with an ugly styling.
The FF is meant to be the rs4 of insanely rich people... and it's a Ferrari, not a VW. This is reflected by the mechanical design and its quality.
I personally don't like its design given the pricetag but the whole concept is pretty neat.

Starvsnr 05-03-2013 07:13 AM

I'll take a Maserati Quattroporte over these two.

I would buy both a Maserati Quattroporte AND a Maserati GranTurismo over either one of the Panamera or the FF.

I simply would.

BC.

I figured somebody would catch that

-_- just.gimme.my.ticket 05-03-2013 06:57 PM

so far most of you seem to be on the same page as me. both these cars are retarded, give us something else.

no one has anything about astons rapide?

That Porsche is uglier...but the Porsche GT...good looking than both of them.

knuck 05-03-2013 11:26 PM

The FF might be uglier but at least it's more original, more unique. I see panameras all the time. Most of them are black or silver and they just dont stand out at all. Nothing special to them.

I bet the porsche is the better car to live with, though. This is Ferrari's first attempt at a car that could be used every day. I'm sure they still have much to learn. This is however, all speculation on my part.

Funny enough...I saw this leaving work last week and come across this and said....wtf... Porsche makes a 4 door?
Needed to take a pic....:yelrotflm

-_- just.gimme.my.ticket 05-06-2013 06:38 PM

any idea who drives it? man? woman? retard? savant?

Rx8vsMalibu 05-06-2013 11:31 PM

Personally, I'd love to take my entire family out in a V12 Ferrari. These cars are in a different class than an M5. These are designed for the customers who already own exotics.
The ferrari 4wd system is pretty amazing and I don't think the car is bad looking at all.

My boss had a Panamera in his stable and this is what I think of it compared to the 911 he had and even his CL65. He replaced it with an S600, it is a boat too but not marketed as a sports car either.

It's a boat, and on the Porsche's there seems to be a lot of interior issues, stuff wears easily and the steering wheel pieces cam off on both the Panamera and his Cayenne within a year.

agreed! i have a cayenne myself and the build quality is absolute shit leathers horrible all the plastic bits break easy, obc gauges fade in and out randomly and the ride....worst of it. but off roads fun tho

9krpmrx8 05-07-2013 12:49 AM

Notice the black around the Porsche insignia? Those black scuff were all over the interior. He rarely drove it with passengers, is a clean freak, and it only had 10,000 miles put on it in three years. Those marks would just show up, same for in the Cayenne.
